GOD DAMN it's been a while. When was the last time I posted? Like January? I don't know who's still here and who has left, but what I do know is there are a LOT of new users, so I'll introduce myself again.

I'm kuhlmanh, and I joined this community like last October-ish. I started out super active, making pretty lengthy ranking lists about Pikmin types and bosses and what not. Nothing too revolutionary, but it was a breath of fresh air at the time. I initially didn't have time to post because I had school and exams and those classes were hard as shit. All the free time I had I spent playing Breath of the Wild, which I got on March 3rd and only completed about a week ago. But now that it's summer, and I'm finally home from vacation and stuff and have free time, I decided why the hell not post on Pikmin Amino? So from there I just had to decide what I was gonna do, and frankly I'm lazy, so I was like I guess I'll just do another ranking list.

I was gonna do the second game because that would make sense chronologically, but there's sooo many bosses in that game, I thought doing the third game would be much more straight forward. So without further ado:Let's do this shit.-6. The Plasm Wraith.

I know what you're thinking: 'What the hell are you thinking? The final boss, ranked last???' Just hear me out. The whole battle and situation leading up to the final fight is very eery and what not, yes. But it's also SO tedious and aggravating, and the result is far from rewarding. So you're gonna spend hours on this fight, and at least 3 in game days, doing the same bull shit over and over again.

First, you have to maneuever around this dumbass blob using the same route like 48262 times while having to rely on your slow ass Pikmin to build you paths and carry Olimar around. This part alone takes around two days to complete so you're also reminded twice about how you've done absolutely nothing for all this time in the end of day screen. It's just such an annoying and not fun moment in an otherwise great game. So the puzzle portion is bad and all, but the actual fight itself is incredibly unrewarding and straight up boring. It's supposed to be climactic and crazy and stuff, which it kinda was to an extent, but all you had to do was cross your fingers that the hazard RNG was in your favor and mash A. For essentially the whole fight I didn't know what i was doing and there was just Pikmin everywhere, most doing nothing. It was just such an underwhelming boss fight and frankly a disgrace to masterpieces like the Emperor Bulblax and Titan Dweevil.

Pikmin 3 All Bosses

Sorry Plasm Wraith fans.5. The Vehemoth Phosbat. This guy is an ordeal.

All you do with this boss is WAIT. You spend the majority of this fight waiting for him to fly over the circuits so you can stun him and reveal his weak point. He doesn't die easy and gradually gains health while flying around so it's gonna most likely take you the whole day to kill him. And, I'm sorry, but Captain Charlie is just not adequate enough of a reward for fighting this guy. He isn't very nice visually either, so you're probably gonna want to make quick work of him, but its just not possible with how much you have to wait.

I HATE boss fights where they make you WAIT and WAIT for an opening to create the illusion that the boss is difficult because it takes so long. Speaking of which.4.

The Armored Mawdad. As you could've guessed by now, this is another boss that makes you wait before killing it. Probably even more so than The Vehemoth Phosbat.

So why is it ranked higher? Well, because it's simply more fun to fight. MUCH more fun. And can I just say that for an entry level boss, this guy is hard as shit? So you have rock pikmin at this point, and know that one of their most principal abilities is destroying crystals. So when the Mawdad initially appears, after running around panicking for a bit, you realize that his back looks an awful lot like the crystals you've been destroying. So you carry the 4 and divide by the reciprocal, and realize your rock pikmin will break his crystalline shell.

It's pretty cool. It requires you to stop and think about the fight.

Now, the problem I have with this guy is, again, the goddamned waiting. The game makes him like scurry around the arena above you or below you to the point where you can't see him and only hear him, not coming close to you for a ludicrous amount of time.

This makes the situation seem treacherous, when it isn't. Spoilers: he's not gonna drop down on your head, dude. So you're just left their WAITING for him to scurry back down to your level, just so you can break his shell again forcing you to wait all over again. I guess I can kinda see the reasoning behind it, because let's be real, if we didn't have to do all that waiting, this guy would be dead in under 5 minutes. But still, c'mon.3. The Scornet Maestro. So by now you've just gotten your winged pikmin and it's fair to expect a boss that flies.

You won't be disappointed. The boss itself is not too much of a problem so much as the Scornets around it are. They're gonna charge at you in lines, form a big ass drill aimed at you, and worst of all, literally steal your pikmin and line them up in a circle and execute them one by one like a sacrifice to their Scornet god. Kinda messed up to be honest.

Unlike the previous entries, this boss wastes no time. It's gonna immediately attack you, and the order of attacks is completely RNG, so there's no guessing on what's gonna happen next. This is different from what happened during The Plasm Wraith fight because there's different methods of avoiding it when the attacks come. In the Wraith fight youre just chucking your pikmin at him the whole time. In this fight, you utilize that incredibly sick tumble maneuever thing to dodge the charge attacks, and you're super obligated to save your pikmin from that f.cked up execution ritual thing because you really don't want them to be sacrificial lambs to the bee gods. There's just so much going on.

The Maestro is barely ever invulnerable itself, and when it is, you're busy avoiding the millions of bees shooting at you like a bullet. It's overall just a super solid entry to this list.2. The Sandbelching Meerslug. This dude is CRAZY. The area is beach-themed and the arena is super sandy, so you'd probably expect a sand/beachy boss, but you did not expect a submarine sized goddamn Sarlacc beast creature.

He burrows in the ground for most of the fight, but it's only to the point where you can't physically see him. You still always know where he is becuase of the constant mound that he makes in the ground. It's eery as shit and much cooler than the Armored Mawdad, whom you just never know where he is. So he starts creating these little circles in the sand underneath you and you're like 'wtf' and all of a sudden you instantly begin sinking downwards into the open mouth of the beast! So after potentially losing a large portion of your squadron to that attack, either out of curiosity or learning the hard way, you figure out that you have to throw the bombs that reside around the arena into his mouth, stunning him. So after a while you think you've gotten the rhythm down, until all of a sudden he bursts up the opposite direction and begins shooting fucking BOULDERS at you. Like actual big ass BOULDERS.

And to round it all out, once he gets low enough, he makes a circle bigger than the previous one, and all of a sudden hes sucking the whole ARENA into his mouth. It's actually insane. And i love it. But there's only one boss that beats it out.1. The Quaggled Mireclops. This might be one of the best boss fights I've ever played and one of the best in the franchise. So you walk into the rainy, muddy arena and see nothing but a sunseed berry in a crystal.

So sweet, another fruit, but something still seems awry. You say what the hell and break the crystal. The bud on the stem of the fruit begins to slowly open, and it's an. The earth below you and your pikmin immediately begins to rise as literally a giant piece of LAND comes to life, supported by three colossal legs that will for sure instantly kill you if stomped on.

This was like the coolest thing I'd ever seen in a video game when I first played it. I was actually frightened. So once you gather your bearings, you're running around trying to find a weak point or way to attack him or really anything honestly. It's weak point is where you'd never guess: it's incredibly enormous and intimidating feet. So once you take one of those feet out with your blues, it'll fall over and give you a chance to attack the crystal with the rocks. And you better pray to god that you get it on the first try, cause otherwise a giant TONGUE will burst from under the crystal and slurp up any pikmin you have with you, instantly killing them. And if there are any that survive somehow and manage to stay on top of him while he rises back up, he's gonna throw them all off into the chaos of rain and muddy waters below right next to his feet.

Once you've finally broken the crystal, the strategy is more or less the same, but he is MUCH angrier. He's gonna stomp twice as fast and overall be a much much bigger threat, if that was possible. And he has a LOTTT of health, so you're gonna be having to do all of this for a long ass time. It's so difficult, so genuinely treacherous, so chaotic, his design is crazy cool, SUPER rewarding, giving you a ton of fruit, Louie, a new area, and most of all, the satisfaction of defeating such a cool boss. There's no bad things to be said about it. The Quaggled Mireclops is simply the best boss on this list and the epitome of what a good ass boss should be.-So that was my Pikmin 3 boss ranking! Hopefully you guys enjoy these and it was a fun read.

This is my personal opinion, so you're completely free to have a different one. And if you do, let me know how you would change things by commenting! I love to hear from you dudes. I'm not entirely sure when my next post will be cause I'm not a long term thinker, but i can definitely tell you I'll try to be more active. So thanks if you read the whole thing, and if you just skimmed through, thanks for checking it out anyway:) Peace out dudes. Share to.

Locations. Long black hair. Long white hairHow to beat In order to inflict damage upon this enemy, you must first get rid of all its body hair.

This can be done by a few different ways. can be used to reach its thorax/head (whatever it is) The Pikmin will then start to pull out its hairs leaving it vulnerable to other attack methods. can also be used to pull out its hairs as they are already higher up in the air. This could be a little more risky as the yellow Pikmin can withstand more damage. Finally, can be thrown at its legs.

The rock Pikmin will then start climbing up the legs, tearing out any hair they come across.Once all hair is removed from its body, any thrown Pikmin will be able to latch onto it and deal the corresponding damage (According to type).
