This is a great level pack for LEGO Dimensions. It's great fun having LEGO versions of Chell, a turret, and a companion cube, and the level plays out very much like your standard Portal 2 level.

The main differences are reduced camera control (LEGO Dimensions operates with a 3rd-person fixed camera rather than first-person free camera), and the fact that the portal gun only works on specific white surfaces, not any white surface. It's still pretty great, though, and the differences can be chalked up to designing a Portal level within the mechanics of a LEGO game. Not to mention the ability to bring in other characters into a Portal level, namely Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle (and anyone else you might have a Dimensions figurine for). The voice acting is great (the original Portal voice cast returns for this level pack), the humor fresh, and after you complete the level. I bought this as a gift for my husband for Christmas. He and our seven year old have spent many hours so far building and playing together.

They have the best time playing the different levels and having fun together. My only complaints are how many pieces this system involves and how easy it is to lose pieces (or knock them down accidentally and have to rebuild them) and how hard it is to store it all. Some vehicles are shaped oddly making it harder to fit in any case. The main piece alone takes up a small shelf in our living room because I can't figure out where else to store it where it will be safe (and the dogs have already knocked it down once forcing a rebuild of the portal).
It can also get expensive trying to purchase levels, figures, teams.we're. If I could have them on for longer than 15 minutes, I would like them even more. I purchased 3 of these to display my Lego Dimensions mini figs. Display holds approximately 3 mini figs or 2 vehicles, depending, of course, on what you have. Light is nice and bright and is a great way to display your favorites.The cons: Light only stays on for 15 minutes and then you have to turn it back on again.
They are pretty pricey for what they are, $10 - 15 would be much more reasonable. Although I really like them (and I have a lot more figures I'd like to display), I won't be buying any more for these 2 reasons.
It used to be that licensed games had little to no hope of securing voice actors that were familiar to players. But that has changed dramatically over the years, to the point where it isn’t surprising to see film and TV actors lending their voices to games. But the game Lego Dimensions is still crazy — it’s voice cast is like a jumble of actors who are all hanging out after the stories in a shelf full of DVDs come to life.This wild ensemble features Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox as their Back to the Future characters; Peter Capaldi and many other Doctor Who actors as their respective characters; the cast of The Lego Movie, with Chris Pratt doing double duty as Owen from Jurassic World; and even a video game crossover, as Ellen McLain shows up as GLaDOS from Portal.Oh, and Gary Oldman voices the bad guy.
