Battleborn, Gearbox’s FPS/MOBA mashup, is all about its characters, or Heroes. These 25 playable heroes are all unique additions to the game, offering a diverse set of gameplay options for players. Depending on your play style, the character that you choose could be the difference between defeat, and total domination of your opponents. Each of these are different, and they are unique to the character, so if there’s a specific one you want to unlock, like Toby (everybody loves Toby), you can focus in on that particular objective. All Battleborn are tied to one of five different: Eldrid, Jennerit, LLC, Peacekeepers, and Rogues. The factions often group characters into different play styles.
There are even pieces of that benefit one faction over another. Use different factions to unlock more characters quickly. Characters can also be unlocked by reaching higher command ranks.Each Battleborn Hero can level up 10 times during a multiplayer game.
Once a new level is attained, two different upgrades will become available in their 'Helix.' Only one upgrade can be chosen per level. Reach Helix level 5 to be able to use a character's ultimate ability in battle.
The Helix will reset back to Level 1 at the beginning of the next game. More options, known as “mutations,” will become available in a character's Helix once the character reaches levels 3, 5, 7, 9, and 12.Battleborn Heroes.
Unlocking Battleborn Heroes As mentioned earlier, Battleborn can be unlocked two different ways. The normal and tedious way is by leveling up your command rank.
